Join us for the 11th Annual LOG-A-LOAD FOR KIDS Hockey Tournament to cheer on and support the players who have generously donated their time to play hockey and fundraise for the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre. The winning team in this tournament is not determined by the number of goals scored, but by the amount of money raised for the Janeway and all our kids.

LOG-A-LOAD FOR KIDS CANADA, an initiative of the Canadian Woodlands Forum, is a national giving campaign through which loggers and other forest industry people donate the value of a load of logs, or any amount, to local Children’s Miracle Network affiliated hospitals through organized fundraising events. All of the contributions raised in Newfoundland and Labrador go directly to the Janeway, our province’s only pediatric care facility.

In 2014, the LOG-A-LOAD FOR KIDS Hockey Tournament raised more than $34,000 to help support our province’s sick and injured children and their families. To date approximately

$280,000 has been raised since the events inception. This weekend’s tournament will see Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Woodlands’ staff, contractors and employees; Department of Natural Resources employees; and friends play for the LOG-A-LOAD FOR KIDS Challenge Cup, donated by Northwest Forest Resources Limited
