IMG_7573IMG_7563IMG_7468On Sunday, June 8, hundreds of participants will take part in the 2014 Walk for Miracles, presented by Walmart, at Quidi Vidi Lake in St. John’s to raise funds for the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre and all our kids.

This 11th Annual Walk will be held in 12 cities across Canada. Walmart Canada hopes to raise millions of dollars to support the 2.6 million children who receive care each year at children’s hospitals throughout the country. Every dollar raised in Newfoundland and Labrador will stay in the province and go directly toward supporting the needs of the Janeway – from vital medical equipment and pediatric research, to important pediatric programming and staff education.

What: St. John’s Walk for Miracles, presented by Walmart, followed by lots of family fun for everyone, including entertainment, barbeque and kids activities.
Who: Hundreds of participants showing their support by taking part in a family-friendly walk. Including Rebekah Winsor, Janeway Champion Child, presented by Walmart Canada, as well as spokespersons from Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre and Walmart Canada.
